She has advised and represented diverse clients in all areas of workplace law. Muriel attained her LL. B. from the University of British Columbia and was called to the Bar of B.C. in 2002. She moved to an in-house counsel role with Canada Post Corporation, which provided an opportunity to develop positive collaborative relationships at all levels of an organization and with numerous unions. Her proven ability to resolve workplace disputes and manage legal risk led to her promotion to a senior managing counsel role, responsible for all legal work in Western Canada. In all of her roles she has been frequently involved in workplace investigations, including advising on process and recommended outcomes. Muriel has completed specialized training in workplace investigations, leadership, coaching and advocacy, and has delivered training in all areas of labour and human rights law and in labour relations and arbitration skills.
