Southern Law Partner, Lisa Southern, presented to the BC School Trustees Association at their Annual Trustee Academy on November 29, 2025. Speaking on the complex legal, ethical and practical challenges faced by Boards of Education, Lisa’s session discussed navigating conflicts of interest and building the skills to engage in respectful conversations on controversial subjects. The event was one of many developed by Southern Law focussed on building capacity for leaders in K-12 public education.
