Rachel Notley speaks on public sector leadership and governance, women leading in public office
January 31, 2026
The Honorable Rachel Notley has a unique perspective on leadership and governance. A trailblazer and changemaker who served as the Premier of Alberta, she continues to lead on key issues, joining Canada’s Canada-US relations council in 2025 to help shape our country’s response to economic threats.
As civility in politics becomes increasingly challenging, and polarity in views becomes a norm, Rachel’s perspective and insights are much sought-after. Recent engagements include:
Jan 15 - spoke to Odell House’s Certificate Program in Public Sector Leadership and Governance on the topic “Alberta perspective within the Canadian federation”
Jan 20 - keynote speech to the 13th Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians at the BC Legislative Assembly. The program was titled “Women Leading: Reflecting on Public Office”.
Recently she was engaged to speak at the UBC Sauder School of Business on September 11, 2026, on the topic “Business for Social Good in a Polarized World”.
