Shelina Neallani is a respected mediator and highly sought-after workplace and leadership coach, and she is also a frequent trainer and facilitator.
Shelina is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, a non-practising Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers, an accredited Family Law Mediator and Arbitrator, a member of Mediate BC’s Civil Roster, and former member of the Family and Child Protection rosters. She graduated from UBC Law School (1989) and UBC School of Social Work (1986).
An accomplished, published writer, Shelina has taught at the post-secondary level and has been a frequent presenter in the field of conflict resolution and wellness. She brings her passion for peace-making, inclusion, connection, and kindness to all that she does. Married, with two grown daughters, Shelina enjoys a diversity of interests and loves to laugh and spend time with her family, including her goldendoodle, Harry!

Shelina’s work focuses on communication, conflict resolution, and well-being, with extensive training and experience as a lawyer, mediator, assessor, social worker, and coach/counsellor. Shelina brings a wide, varied perspective and expertise to her work.
Mediator
Shelina established a mediation and consulting practice focusing on helping others resolve disputes and become the best versions of themselves and their organizations. She mediated for Small Claims Court and consulted on projects related to dispute resolution and justice transformation initiatives on behalf of clients, including Legal Aid BC, Mediate BC, and the Province of BC, as well as for organizations seeking to improve their workplace culture. She also served at the Lawyers Assistance Program of BC as a lawyer counsellor. Shelina brings her passion for peace-making, inclusion, connection, and kindness to all that she does. Shelina’s workplace assessments / environmental scans have included a variety of organizations. -
From 2023 to 2025, Shelina was appointed by the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner as an Assessor member of the OSIC Sport Environment Assessment Unit.
