Jessica received her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2009. She articled at a firm in Toronto working with lawyers practicing labour law, civil litigation, and class actions before moving to Vancouver where she practiced labour, employment, and human rights law at union-side labour law firms. Jessica later practiced in house for a major healthcare union for seven years. In 2021, Jessica was appointed to the BC Human Rights Tribunal, where she adjudicated a broad spectrum of human rights complaints. Jessica came to Southern Law from the Tribunal in April 2026.
Jessica is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch. She has contributed to Continuing Legal Education conferences in the areas of human rights and labour law throughout her career.

Jessica's practice focuses on work as a neutral third-party workplace investigator. She is a well-respected member of the labour bar by both employer-side and union-side counsel. With her prior experience mediating at the Tribunal and representing unions and individuals as counsel in mediations, she is able to consider various parties' perspectives to understand concerns and effectively resolve workplace issues. As a seasoned decision-maker, Jessica is experienced in making credibility and reliability assessments and is known for her clear writing style.
